DETAILS: The Navy’s Sailor of the Year program was established to recognize one Sailor who is the best representative of dedicated professionals who serve as role models of professionalism and personal dedication. This year’s event, held January 27, 2010, at 6:00 pm at New York, New York, will determine the Sailor of the Year for Navy Region West, which includes 13 districts. The winner of this competition will then go on to compete nationally.
