Las Vegas, NV - On December 8, 2009, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) Board of Directors unanimously voted for Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center as the on-site medical services provider for LVCVA convention participants.

"We strive to provide our convention clients with the best possible experience, and providing on-site medical services is a critical element of accomplishing that goal."

It is anticipated that approximately 85-100 conventions and over 1.5 million people will go through the convention center in 2010. As the on-site medical services provider, Sunrise Hospital registered nurses will be at the convention center to treat a variety of medical needs as they arise during conventions.

The on-site medical services contract goes into effect January 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013 with the option to extend for an additional three years if mutually agreed upon.
