Las Vegas - Clark County Library District
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (LVCCLD) is the largest library district in the Valley. Free library cards are obtained by applying online at www.lvccld.org, or by visiting your local library. Children under the age of 14 will need a parent or guardian's signature in order to obtain a card. There are 24 LVCCLD branches in Las Vegas and Clark County offering residents more than 2 million items including books, music CDs and DVDs. Through the library's web site, you can download books, movies, and music, manage your library account, request and renew items, pay fines and fees and much more.
A wide variety of special events and programs are offered free of charge, including storytimes, book discussion groups, gallery exhibits, film series and author visits. Public computers are conveniently provided at all urban branches. The LVCCLD provides support and assistance to Valley youth with free Homework Help online and in the branches. Web pages designed for kids and parents, teens and seniors can be accessed through the library's main web page, and resources are also available online in Spanish.
